Environmentally safe design uses a hand crank and NI-MH Battery, the NI-MH Battery will not leak like ordinary batteries. One Minute of hand cranking should generate 30 minutes of light. The unit comes with a built in FM/WB radio, No Replacement Bulb Light, cell phone charger and Alarm

Batteries are not needed. Cranking the handle for 1 minute should yield:

30 Minutes of Light

10 Minutes of Radio

3 Minutes of Siren

Cranking for 3 minutes should yield 2-8 minutes of cell talk time

A fully charged battery should yield 90 minutes of radio use.

Comes with cell phone charge adapter, some cell phones may require an additional not included adapter.

Sellers Note: We really like this unit, what convinced us to carry it was how crystal clear the radio was. Granted we are in Southern California with a Gazillion Radio Stations, it was crystal clear on all stations we tested without the antenna being extended.
